Anita Moreno was born in the magical land of Colombia. Searching for a different kind of jungle she flew to New York in 2012 and has since been a working actor under the tutelage of Susan Pilar and Jaime Zevallos (Marvel's Cloak and Dagger). Moreno Attended The Barrow Group one year Conservatory, mentored by Lee Brock, and The American Academy of Dramatics Arts two year Conservatory on a talent based scholarship.
When she was a little girl, oftentimes she felt found companionship on Television and Film with the characters who felt like friends. She then became an actor inspired by the need of providing support for others and the strong desire for representation of her Latinx community. Being a source of inspiration and light for those in dark places is the motor of her boat.
Anita is a member of Love Creek Theater company. She was featured in Content is King at The Chelsea Film Festival and The Michaeaux film festival (Winner of Best Non-scripted series) at the TLC Chinese Theater.
Anita was part of the ensemble for the latest LAByrinth Theater Barn Series. In her free time, she sings Jazz to her Bulldog Gaia at their Brooklyn home.
